Get Your Property Ready for Tenants With These Tips

submitted 1 month ago, Monday, Aug 14, 2017, 05:23:42 by johnpeterson1812g in Business
Summer is a great time for people involved in rental property management in Chicago to lease their homes. Real Property Management Chicago Edge wants to give you some tips on how to get your property “rent-ready”:

● Look at the Outside First: Look at your property from the curb and think about how it appears to potential tenants.
● Finish up on the Inside: Take care of any necessary repairs and remodels, and make sure the property is clean and inspected.
● Don’t Forget Safety and Security: If you are thinking to yourself, “I’ve finally checked off my “rent my house in Chicago” to-do list!” don’t forget about the home’s security. You need to rekey the locks for new tenants, and should check batteries on all smoke detectors and any other detectors around the house.
